Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Ghostgram ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Ghostgram is an end-to-end encrypted messaging application for iOS. The service provides private text messaging, media sharing, voice/video calls, group channels, and stories — all protected by encryption.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Ghostgram. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account

Your Ghostgram account is identified by a cryptographic key pair generated on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and your recovery phrase. We cannot recover your account if you lose access to your device and recovery phrase.

5. Acceptable Use & Zero Tolerance Policy

Ghostgram has a zero tolerance policy for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to use Ghostgram to:

• Post, share, or transmit any objectionable, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Harass, bully, threaten, stalk, or intimidate other users
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications
• Distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploit minors in any way
• Share content that promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm
• Distribute malware, phishing attempts, or malicious content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to compromise the security of the service or other users
• Use the service for any illegal activity

Violation of this policy will result in immediate removal of offending content and permanent termination of the offending user's account.

6. Content Moderation & Reporting

Ghostgram provides the following mechanisms to ensure user safety:

• Block users: You can block any user at any time, immediately preventing them from contacting you.
• Report users: You can report abusive users or objectionable content directly within the app. Reports are sent to our team at support@ghostgram.chat.
• Content removal: You can delete any message or content from your conversations at any time.
• 24-hour response: Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours. We will remove objectionable content and terminate accounts of users who violate these terms.

To report inappropriate activity, use the "Report" button in the app or email us directly at support@ghostgram.chat.

7. Intellectual Property

The Ghostgram name, logo, and app are the property of Ghostgram. You retain ownership of content you create and share through the App.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Ghostgram is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ghostgram shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Termination

You may stop using Ghostgram at any time by deleting the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
